Windswept

Description
Mojave National Preserve, California. I remember driving past the Mojave National Preserve for the first time thinking "I wonder what all exists out there.". Shortly after we got settled in Southern California I did a google search for sand dunes hoping to find some close by - Kelso was the closest. This became a place that I made a point to visit every year we lived in Southern California. I took this photo after a rain storm passed by as the wind that first created the dunes showed up to continually shape them.
