Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
We had just finished shooting sunrise at Tower Fall and were on our way back to the Airbnb when we saw this lonesome bison in the field. We pulled over to take some photos and watch him for a while. At one point he laid down - thinking it might be his nap time I let my camera hang over my shoulder when he started rolling around in the dirt. Reminding me of my dog, I had to take pictures - and like my dog - when he stood up - he shook all the dirt off leaving this cloud of dust lifting off of him.
