Desert Super Bloom

Limited Edition of 50 prints
Description
Anza-Borrego State Park, California. Spring is one of my favorite seasons for a lot of reasons, but the main reason is flowers. In the six plus years of living in SoCal I waited until the last year to visit Anza-Borrego - save the best for last, right? I woke up at one thirty in the morning to dive out to the desert for two reasons - to shoot the milky way before it set, and to shoot the wildflowers at sunrise. After checking the first thing off my list I got set up in a field of flowers and waited for the sunrise. Seeing the rays of light breaking behind the hill and painting the clouds to match the flowers has been one of the most memorable experiences behind my camera I've ever experienced.
