Rock Creek Lake, California.
After a couple of days shooting fall colors in the Sierra Nevadas I was about to leave when I decided to drive up one more mountain road. Call it intuition... or sleep deprivation. When I first took this photo I liked it for the light coming through the trees. When I got home it didn't really have the same feeling as when I took it. I spent several days and multiple edits trying to invoke the feeling I had when I took it. When I thought I was ready to give up I thought I would mess around with some stuff in photoshop I've never used and this was the end result.
