Ever since I was a kid New Zealand has been one of my dream destinations, and the end of 2023 into 2024 my wife and I took our honeymoon there. During our tour of the South Island we had an afternoon off and decided to take a hike into the hills of the forest around Saint Josef. Half way through our hike it began to rain - the clouds, along with the canopy made for some beautiful soft light. Mixed with the newly wet leafs made for some beautiful scenery.
