Death Valley National Park, California.
After a period of unusually heavy rainfall in 2023 into 2024 ephemeral lake manly made an appearance in the lowest place in America. For most of the day the water was fairly calm, but once the sun set behind the mountains a calm breeze gave the surface some movement. I slowed my shutter and took this photo as the sun painted the clouds above.
