I have to admit, I'm a sucker for a photo with a good reflection. After I knew we were going to be moving from California to Kentucky I took the opportunity take a drive up into the eastern sierras to photograph the fall colors and visit some new spots. I woke up early to make it to the lake before the sun came up with hopes of getting a little alpine glow on the peaks. When I arrived the sky was completely clear of clouds, but right as the sun began to rise these clouds started to appear. Shoutout to Mother Nature for doing what she does best.
